TOWANDA — In junior high baseball action Towanda’s ‘A’ team beat NP-Mansfield 16-3 in four innings.

Gabe Wolf (1-for-1) scored three times, and had an RBI.

Drew Maghamez (2-for-2) scored a run, as Jason Wickwire (1-for-2) scored twice. 

Gavin Woodbeck and Blayke Spencer both scored twice, as Cooper Aukema, Scott Kjelgaard, Joey Montoya, and Brayden Cox all crossed home. 

Hudson Nash (1-for-1) along with Aukema had an RBI.

Wickwire went two innings with three strikeouts, as Wyatt Jones pitched one inning with one strikeout.

NPM won the ‘B’ game 5-1.

Ashton Vischansky (1-for-1) had an RBI as Andrew Manley (1-for-1) scored a run. Cook (1-for-1) also had a hit.

Dempsey Stevens went two innings with five strikeouts, while Aukema also went two innings to strikeout five.

Towanda recently defeated Elk Lake 19-10 as Harper Welles (3-for-4) scored twice, and had 2-RBI, with Maghamez (2-for-3) scoring, and driving in a run.

Nolan Tuttle (2-for-2) had 2-RBI, with a run scored, while Wyatt Jones (5-for-5) had 3-RBI, with two runs scored.

Spencer (1-for-2) had an RBI with a run scored, Aukema (1-for-3) scored twice, and drove in a run, Joey Montoya (1-for-2) scored and had an RBI, Wolf (1-for-2) had an RBI, and scored, and Stevens (1-for-1) and Cox (1-for-1) both scored twice.

Kjelgaard (1-for-1) also scored, as Rylan Cook crossed home.
