NTL TRACK & FIELD: TROY SWEEPS TOWANDA IN DUAL MEET SEASON FINALE (May 6, 2025)
Northern Tier Sports ReportTROY — The Troy boys and girls track and field team ended their dual meet seasons with a pair of wins. The boys won 99-67, while the girls won 97-61.
For the boys Rylan Breidt (48.11) and Isaac Gates (53.90) went 1-2 in the 300 hurdles. Troy’s Gordon Weaver (119-feet, 11-inches) and Timothy Hornung (116-feet, 1-inch) went 2-3 in the javelin.
Breidt won the 110 hurdles in 17.63, while Troy swept the 100 with Ben Warburton (11.58), Joseph Frye (12.19), and Charles Oldroyd (12.26).
Troy won the 4x100 (45.83), with Evan Geer (53.45) winning the 400 as teammate Lucas Norton (57.03) was third. Mason Wulff (2:10.46) and Geer (2:26.43) went 1-2 in the 800.
Warburton (23.04) and Frye (24.55) went 1-2 in the 200, as RJ Bellinger (11:43.42) and Brody Campbell (12:28.49) went 2-3 in the 3200.
Troy’s 4x400 (4:39.33) won, with Colin Cavanaugh (5-feet) and Alex Breidt (4-feet, 10-inches) going 2-3 in the high jump.
Avery Sens (47-feet, 1 1/2-inches) was second in the shot put with Cooper Watkins (38-feet) second. Hart Houseknecht (10-feet) was third in the pole vault.
Watkins (110-feet, 8-inches) and Sens (108-feet, 5-inches) went 2-3 in the discus, as Frye (18-feet, 4-inches) won the long jump.
Marcus Frisbie (32-feet, 10 1/2-inches) and Jordan Rockwell (30-feet, 3 1/4-inches) went 2-3 in the triple jump.
For the girls Troy’s Kylee Roy (52.58) won in the 300 hurdles as teammate Amber Jo White (58.36) was third. Madelyn Seeley (100-feet, 6-inches) was second in the javelin.
Roy (17.44) won the 100 hurdles as White (19.29) was third. Troy’s Ellie Spalding (14.13) won the 100 with teammate Alexis Hartford (14.88) in third.
Isabella Prieto (8:04.73) won the 1600 as the Trojan 4x100 (54.87) also took first.
Troy swept the 400 with Alyssa Parks (1:02.59), Haylie-Davies Grove (1:12.68), and Madeline Spalding (1:33.34).
Gloria Andrews (3:01.85) and Prieto (3:44.24) went 1-2 in the 800.
Spalding (29.11) won the 200 with teammate Parker Lee (31.13) in third. Troy’s 4x400 won in 5:25.43.
Parks (4-feet, 8-inches) won with Seeley (4-feet, 4-inches) in third. Parks won the pole vault in 9-feet, as well.
Maddy Keeney (15-feet, 4 3/4-inches) won the long jump while Lee (14-feet, 1 1/2-inches) was third, as Ella Lawton (82-feet, 6-inches) was second in the discus.
Keeney (31-feet, 3 1/4-inches) won the triple jump.
