NTL TRACK & FIELD: TOWANDA TAKE THIRD AT NTL CHAMPIONSHIPS (2025-05-10)

ATHENS — The Towanda girls gave Athens a good chase for the NTL Championship Track and Field title Friday, but ultimately took third with 100.5 points.

Athens pulled away with 133 points.


Brynn Woodruff won the javelin (122-feet, 5-inches) as Marin Maynard tied for second in the pole vault (9-feet, 6-inches).


Izzy Larson was second in the 800 (2:30.81), fourth in the 1600 (5:33), and fifth in the 3200 (12:51.70), with Mary-Kate Eberlin third in the 3200 (12:37.22), fourth in the 800 (2:34.63), and fifth in the 1600 (5:37.44).


Mya Maynard took third in the discus (89-feet, 1 1/2-inches), sixth in the javelin (88-feet, 6-inches), and sixth in the shot put (29-feet, 7 1/4-inches), while Anna Dunn was third in the 400 (1:05.20), and fourth in the 200 (28.24).


Katelyn Blokzyl took fifth in the 100 hurdles (17.83), Kylee Barnes was fifth in the 400 (1:07.64), Allexys Shaffer was tied for sixth in the pole vault (6-feet), Reese Sullivan took sixth in the 100 (13.63), Angie Tavani was eighth in the 3200 (13:28.46), and Hannah Petty finished eighth in the shot put at 26-feet, 9 1/2-inches).


The 4x800 was third in 11:20.14, the 4x100 took fifth in 54.80, and the 4x400 was sixth in 4:40.74.
