Northern Tier Sports Report
Plenty of action on the diamond around the area to start the week.

SOFTBALL

CV (7-8) at Towanda (9-5), 4:30 p.m.: CV needs to win more than they lose this week in order to make districts, while if the Knights finish this week strong they could end up with a home playoff game.

Canton (3-14) at Wyalusing (9-8), 4:30 p.m.: One more win for the Rams to send them to districts. If they can finish strong they could nab a home playoff game.

NEB (8-6) at NP-Liberty (11-3), 4:30 p.m.: Another tough one for NEB who are still leading Williamson for the Small School title. A win here would go a long ways towards wrapping that up.

BASEBALL

Sayre (2-14) at Troy (12-5), 4:30 p.m.: The Trojans are coming off a strong weekend as they try to catch NP-Mansfield for the third place spot in the district standings.

CV (13-2) at Towanda (10-7), 4:30 p.m.: A playoff home game may be out of reach but the Knights can still hold their fifth place spot in the standings with a strong finish. The Indians are the Small School champions.

Canton (6-11) at Wyalusing (4-13), 4:30 p.m.: Two young teams looking to finish strong to build momentum for next season.
