NTL TRACK & FIELD: WYALUSING'S PALFREYMAN REACHES DISTRICT PODIUM IN DISCUS (2025-05-16)

WILLIAMSPORT — Wyalusing’s Gabrielle Palfreyman reached the podium at the District IV Track and Field Championships on Thursday.

Palfreyman (102-feet) was fourth in the discus for Class AA.

Also for the girls Vayda Rought (13.2) took 13th in the 100 preliminaries while the 4x800 took 11th in 11:08.89.

On the boys’ side James Rogan (16.01) took sixth in the 110 hurdles preliminaries, qualifying himself for the finals on Saturday.

Teammate Jack Fischer (17.5) came in 21st.

In the long jump Zibiah Walton (19-feet, 1 3/4-inches) was 14th, while Shay Gartland (19-feet, 1-inch) came in 15th.
