NTL SOFTBALL: NEB'S BERGER TO PLAY FOR WILSON NEXT SEASON (2025-05-19)

Once NEB’s Hannah Berger is done playing for the Panthers this spring she’ll be taking her softball talents to Wilson College in the fall.

“I chose Wilson College due to its animal studies program amongst the wide variety of other opportunities the campus offers related to my interests,” she said. “The coaching staff and team followed by the campus is everything I am looking for to further my education and softball career.”

Wilson was the only choice for Berger.

“I never really looked at other schools, my options close by were limited due to the specific major I wanted, I went to Wilson camps and towards the campus and fell in love with all of it,” Wilson said.

Berger has been a 3-year starter for the Panthers behind the plate, and has been one of the most feared power hitters the league. 

She’s hoping she can do the same for Wilson over the next four seasons.

“I’m very excited to continue playing,” Berger said. “I have loved the sport for years, and choosing to play after high school was important to me and my dedication to softball as a whole.”
