NTL FOOTBALL: TROY'S TERIBURY EXCITED TO JOIN BLOOMSBURG (2025-06-04)
BY CHRIS MANNINGNorthern Tier Sports ReportAfter wreaking havoc on opposing offenses Troy’s Eason Teribury plans on doing the same in the PSAC for Bloomsburg University next fall.
I’m excited to keep going especially since I started in eighth grade,” said Teribury. “It kind of gives me more time to learn and play the game it’s something that is super special that I’m really looking forward to.”
He clicked with the Bloomsburg coaching staff, and felt that was the best place for him to go.
“I picked Bloomsburg because of the winning culture and the coaching staff,” Teribury said. “Especially coach Shep he recruited me the hardest and constantly was checking on me and I just knew that I didn’t even care what anything on campus looked like I just wanted to play for him. Coach Sheptok is building some special there and he knows what it means to win and be great and he is putting it into the program. There is also some former NTL players on the team so that is also super cool.”
Canton’s Riley Parker is there, and Teribury will be joined by teammate Lincoln Chimics.
“Anyone lucky enough to play with Lincoln would figure out super quick that he is special,” Teribury said. “He’s a vocal leader especially on defense and keeps the energy up whether it be returning kicks or hyping everyone up. Being able to continue with one of my best friends is crazy to think about and I’m just super excited to keep going with him.”
Teribury is excited to bring some of Troy’s state championship mentality to the Huskies along with his strong defensive play with 81 tackles, 17 tackles for loss, and eight sacks a year ago.
“Bloom is going to get someone who is willing to work hard but also have fun while doing it,” he said. The “championship mentality” is a real thing that runs through Troy. Overall just someone who knows how to win and is willing to do whatever it takes to get there.”
