AOW: NEB'S BERGER ENDS SEASON STRONG (2025-06-16)

NEB softball ran their season all the way to the end, and while they didn’t get the fairytale ending, they did end up creating some moments that will last a lifetime. The program will certainly never forget them.

Catcher Hannah Berger certainly had a big week. In the state semifinal she drove in the game winning run, while in the state final she had a 2-RBI double as NEB was the only team to score runs against Union Area in the entire postseason.

That’s good enough to earn Berger the Female Athlete of the Week honors.
