TOWANDA — Towanda edged Southern Tioga, 2-1, in District 15 Little League Majors Baseball bracket play Friday.

Both teams scored in the first and it stayed that way until the top of the sixth when Towanda pushed a run across on a bunt.

Cash Raffin (1-for-3) and Cayson V both scored, as Madden W had an RBI. Eli W (1-for-2) and Colton M (1-for-2) both had hits.

Cayson tossed the first four innings with four strikeouts while Raffin went the final two innings with two strikeouts.

Towanda travels to Wellsboro on Sunday with a 4 p.m. start.
