TOWANDA — Towanda rolled past Wellsboro, 19-5, during District 15 Little League Majors Softball action Saturday.

Towanda jumped out to a 3-0 first inning lead, then scored five more in the second. They out scored Wellsboro 6-1 in the third, and 5-4 in the fourth to secure the win.

Nina Gallagher (3-for-4) had three doubles, 3-RBI, and two runs scored, while Lily Bartholomew (3-for-4) had 3-RBI with two runs scored.

Ava Martin (2-for-3) scored three times with an RBI, Gracie Hogan (2-for-2) scored a run, with Elli Thompson (2-for-2) scoring three times.

Camdyn Buford (1-for-1) had 2-RBI with two runs scored, as Bristol Edsell (1-for-2) had a double, three runs scored, and an RBI.

Brinlee Brinks (1-for-4) had an RBI, with Karis Laudermilch (1-for-2) and Lily Strope (1-for-3) both scoring, and driving in a run.

Ellie Alderfer (1-for-3) added a hit.

Alderfer tossed 3 1/3-innings with five strikeouts, while Buford tossed the final two-thirds.
