LITTLE LEAGUE: TROY MINORS BASEBALL TOO MUCH FOR WELLSBORO (2025-06-21)
Northern Tier Sports ReportTROY — Troy Minors baseball continued to roll with a 14-0 win over Wellsboro in four innings during District 15 Little League bracket play Saturday.
Troy scored in every inning, pushing four across in the first. They added two more in the in second, six in the third, and finally two in the fourth.
River Barth (2-for-2) had a home run, 2-RBI, and two runs scored, while Ethan Kendall (3-for-3) had two doubles, three runs, and 2-RBI.
Isaac Watson (3-for-3) had a triple, two runs scored, and an RBI, with Jase Sheeley (2-for-3) with a double, two runs scored, and an RBI.
Jairo Misenas (2-for-3) drove in two runs with a run scored, as Thomas Hamlet (2-for-2) had a double, two runs scored, and an RBI.
Brennan Scott (1-for-2) scored, and drove in a run, with Benjamin Labs also crossing home. Keegan Root added an RBI.
Sheeley allowed just one hit in four innings of work while striking out eight.
Troy will host Southern Tioga on Wednesday, June 25 in the semifinals.
