LITTLE LEAGUE: CANTON FALLS AGAINST TIOGA-LAWRENCEVILLE IN MAJORS BASEBALL (2025-06-22)
Northern Tier Sports ReportCANTON — Canton dropped a 7-5 game to Tioga-Lawrenceville during District 15 Little League Majors Baseball action Sunday.
Tioga led 3-1 after one with Canton getting a run back in the second. Tioga would out score Canton 4-3 in the third to take the 2-run lead, and the game stayed like that in the final three innings.
Tate Cole (2-for-3) had a double with 2-RBI, and a run scored with Drake VanNoy (1-for-1) scoring twice.
Jase Pepper (1-for-3) had 2-RBI, as Jacob Sampson, and Grayson Pepper both scored. Tanner Gowin and Hunter Burr each had an RBI, with Christian Moore (1-for-2) getting a hit.
VanNoy started, and went two innings with two strikeouts, as Parker Earle went 1 2/3-innings to strikeout four.
Pepper struck out one in one-third of inning, as Cole struck out four in two innings of work.
