LITTLE LEAGUE: TROY MAJORS SOFTBALL FALLS TO ATHENS (2025-06-23) Northern Tier Sports Report ATHENS — Troy fell to Athens, 8-1, in the culmination of the winner’s bracket of the District 15 Majors Softball Little League Tournament Monday.
Troy will now take on Towanda on Wednesday.
Troy led 1-0 after the second innings but Athens pushed two across in the fourth, and broke the game open with a 6-run fifth.
Peyton Harkness scored Troy’s run.
Blaklee Brown went four innings with 10 strikeouts for Troy as Blair Teribury struck out two in one inning of work.
Molly McGrath struck out 13 as she threw a no-hitter for Athens.
