LITTLE LEAGUE: RTL ROLLS PAST SAYRE IN MAJORS BASEBALL (2025-06-24)

WYALUSING — RTL Majors baseball rolled past Sayre, 21-2, during District 15 Little League action Tuesday.

RTL took a 9-1 lead in the first, then scored six more in the second and third innings.

Parker Sands (1-for-2) had a home run, 5-RBI, and four runs scored for RTL, as Wesley Kershner (1-for-3) had a triple, 5-RBI, and three runs scored.

Noah Shaffer (1-for-2) scored twice, and had an RBI, with Evan Bates (1-for-2) hitting a double with 3-RBI, and two runs scored.

Jackson Case (1-for-2) scored three times, and drove in two runs, as Nolan Putnam (1-for-2) crossed home.

Aiden Nystrand scored and drove in two runs with Sawyer Close (1-for-3), and Weston Maines both crossing home.

Michael Trowbridge scored three times.

Shaffer struck out three in one inning of work, with Putnam fanning six in two innings.

RTL will travel to Tunkhannock on Thursday.
