LITTLE LEAGUE: RTL ROLLS PAST ATHENS IN MINORS BASEBALL (2025-06-26)

WYALUSING — RTL Minors baseball stayed hot, beating Athens 20-0 in District 15 Little League bracket play action Wednesday. 

RTL has only played NEBall and Athens so far this season, but are 4-0 against them, out scoring them 72-6.

They travel to Troy on Sunday with a 4 p.m. start.

RTL jumped out to a 7-0 lead in the first, then tacked on eight more runs in the second, and five more in the third.

Wesley Carr (3-for-3) and Forrest Fisk (3-for-3) both were perfect from the plate. Fisk scored three times and drove in two runs, as Carr crossed home twice.

Elliott Campbell (2-for-2) had a double with three runs scored, and an RBI, as Eli Howard (2-for-2) drove in four runs with a run scored.

Emerson Clouse (1-for-4) had a triple, two runs scored, and an RBI, with Adrien Cole (1-for-3) hitting a double with 2-RBI, and a run scored.

Ashton Cole (1-for-3) scored, and drove in a run, while Brantley Cron (1-for-2) scored three times, and had an RBI.

Elijah Rought (1-for-2) drove in three runs with Cayden Benjamin scoring twice.
