LITTLE LEAGUE: BEHIND CLOUSE'S NO-HITTER RTL TOPS TROY IN MATCH-UP OF UNBEATENS (2025-06-29)

TROY — RTL kept their winning ways going, beating Troy 11-0 in four innings during District 15 Little League Minors Baseball action Sunday.

The win means they’ll await the winner of Troy and Southern Tioga, who play on Tuesday in the final game of the consolation bracket. That game will be at Sayre with a 6 p.m. start.

RTL jumped out with two runs in the first, then added another in the second. They broke the game open with six runs in the third, followed by two runs in the fourth to secure the win.

Emerson Clouse tossed a 7-strikeout no-hitter over four innings for RTL while also scoring twice on the base paths.

Ethan Shaffer (3-for-3) had a double, 2-RBI, and a run scored, as Wesley Carr (2-for-2) scored three times.

Adrien Cole (2-for-2) had a triple with a run scored, and an RBI, with Cayden Benjamin (1-for-3) driving in two runs, while scoring once.

Elliott Campbell (1-for-3) had 2-RBI with a run scored, while Forrest Fisk (1-for-2) scored, and had an RBI.

Brantley Cron (1-for-1) had a hit with Elijah Rought scoring a run.

Jase Sheeley started for Troy, going 2 2/3-innings with four strikeouts, while River Barth tossed the final 1 1/3-innings, fanning two.
