NTL GOLF: CANTON TAKES SEVENTH AT TYOGA COUNTRY CLUB (2025-08-18)

WELLSBORO — Canton came in seventh at Tyoga Country Club during their third NTL match of the season Monday.

The Warriors shot 405 as Towanda (322) edged out Athens (323) to win. Wellsboro (341) was third followed by NP-Mansfield (346), Wyalusing (376), CV (386), while Sayre (554) took eighth.

Levi Vermilya and Tommy Preston both shot 99 to lead the Warriors, as Vermilya had a birdie par-5 fourth hole to go with four pars. Preston had two pars on the day.

Reed Taylor shot 101, as Link Vermilya and Carson Rockwell both shot 106. Rockwell had two pars as Link notched one.

Gavin Sharp finished with a 119, including a birdie par-4 15th.

Troy Sam Stafford shot a 112 with a birdie on the par-3 13th.

For the girls’ team Olivia Kelley shot 150 as Summer Route carded a 152 with one par.
