NTL GOLF: TOWANDA TOPS WELLSBORO, CV IN TRI-MATCH ACTION (2025-08-25)

WYSOX — The Towanda boys’ golf team earned wins over Wellsboro and CV during NTL 9-hole match play on Monday.

The Knights scored 153 as Wellsboro shot 178, and CV notched a 191.

Boom Thompson shot an even 35 as he parred all nine holes, while Graham Welles finished with a 37 behind five pars, and a birdie on the par-5 ninth hole.

Baylee Clark finished with a 38 thanks to a birdie on the par-4 first hole, and four pars.

Owen Savercool finished with a 43 behind three pars, Lucas Vincent shot 44 with two pars, and Jason Wickwire notched a 47 with one par.

The Lady Knights shot 151 as a team behind Olivia Heath’s 45. She had one par on the day.

Payton Perry shot a 51 with two pars, while Clara Glantz, Izzy Repsher, and Rosie Glantz all shot 55. Maggie Glantz chipped in with a 57.

Towanda travels out to Corey Creek on Wednesday.
