Northern Tier Sports Report
Girls’ soccer and volleyball take center stage today, with Towanda and Wyalusing girls’ soccer playing at home, along with Canton volleyball.

GIRLS’ SOCCER
NP-Mansfield at Wyalusing (2-0), 4 p.m.: The Rams come home after winning the Meadowbrook Christian School Tournament title. They swept the Tigers in 2024.

NEB at Williamson, 4 p.m.: A tough opener for the new look Panthers as the Warriors were district qualifiers a year ago.

Troy at Towanda, 6 p.m.: Quite the opener for both teams as the 5-time defending league champs hit the road to take on a young Black Knight squad.

VOLLEYBALL
Towanda at CV, 7 p.m.: The Knights open the season with a long road trip out to CV.

Troy at Williamson, 7 p.m.: The Trojans fell to the Warriors in their season opener last year so they know they start their league title defense off with a tough one.

Wellsboro at Canton, 7 p.m.: The Warriors start the season at home as they take on the defending Class AA District IV champions.

Wyalusing (1-0) at Athens, 7 p.m.: The Rams are headed to the valley as they take on the Wildcats, who reached the Class AAA District IV title game.
