NTL VOLLEYBALL: WYALUSING OPENS LEAGUE PLAY WITH WIN OVER ATHENS (2025-08-26)
Northern Tier Sports ReportATHENS — Wyalusing started off the NTL season strong with a 3-0 win over Athens in volleyball action Tuesday.
The Rams won the sets 25-19, 25-13, and 25-20.
Addison Fluck had seven aces, three kills, three digs, and an assist for Wyalusing as Emily Johns had five kills, two aces, and two digs.
Josie Ferris notched 10 assists, one kill, seven digs, and two aces, while Jalynn Herda had four kills, three aces, one block, two assists, and a dig.
Isabel McKeon had six assists, and three digs, with Kirra Millard adding 11 digs.
Madalyn Broschart notched three aces, two kills, and two digs, as Alyssa Neagle had two kills, three digs, and two aces.
Addie Vanderpool had three kills, and three digs, with SaEva Manahan getting a kill with four digs. Avery Carr notched a kill, while Gabby Manahan had a dig.
Wyalusing fell 2-1 in JV action.
The Rams won the first set 25-21, Athens took the second set 25-18, and then the Wildcats clinched it with a 15-9 win in the third set.
