NTL VOLLEYBALL: TOWANDA ROLLS PAST CV IN OPENER (2025-08-26)

WESTFIELD — Towanda swept Cowanesque Valley 3-0 in their NTL volleyball season opener Tuesday.

The Knights won the sets 25-17, 25-19, and 25-11.

Brooklyn Evans had 13 points, six kills, three aces, three digs, and one block for Towanda as Karis Flynn had 12 points, three aces, 17 assists, and four digs.

Kendall Kellogg had eight points, five kills, one ace, one assist, and one dig, while Lariah Long finished with 19 points, seven aces, three kills, and one dig.

Caedence Wells had 11 points, five aces, and a dig, as Kaya Johnson added five kills.

Brynsen Vargason had eight points, two aces, five digs, and two kills, with Alyssa Dulaney getting five points and a dig, as Alayna Rankin had a kill.

The Knights rallied for a win in the JV match. They fell down 25-20 after one, but took the next two 25-19 and 15-11.

Ali Hollett had four points, three aces, five assists, and three digs for the Knights as Addy Barrett finished with five points, four kills, and three kills.

Lennon Rice had three kills, with London Decker getting eight points, six aces, and two digs.

Molly Roberts finished with two points, two aces, two kills, one ace, and one dig, while Emma Space had a block and a kill.

Reese Sullivan finished with 12 points, eight digs, two kills, and five aces.

Towanda hosts Williamson on Thursday for their home opener.
