NTL BOYS' SOCCER: TROY COMES UP SHORT AGAINST NPL (2025-08-27) Northern Tier Sports Report EAST TROY — Troy fell in a tight battle to North Penn-Liberty, 2-1, during NTL boys’ soccer action Wednesday.
The match was tied 1-1 at the half but NPL was able to get the winner in the second half.
Troy’s first half goal came when an Ethan Hoffman cross was finished by Landon Jenkins.
Parker Jackson and Kai Wheeland had the two Mountie goals.
NPL out shot Troy 12-5, while the Trojans had a 7-6 edge in corner kicks.
Timmy Hornung made 16 saves in net for Troy.
Troy (0-4) will travel to Montoursville on Saturday.
