NTL GOLF: TOWANDA STAYS UNDEFEATED AS THEY TOP NP-MANSFIELD, CANTON (2025-08-28)
Northern Tier Sports ReportMANSFIELD — Towanda stayed undefeated as they topped NP-Mansfield and Canton during NTL 9-hole golf action Wednesday.
The Knights edged the Tigers, 169 to 176, while Canton shot 199.
Boom Thompson shot 38 with seven birdies to lead Towanda, while Owen Savercool notched a 42 with four pars.
Graham Welles carded a 43 with three pars as Baylee Clark, Jason Wickwire, and Lucas Vincent all carded 46. Wickwire had two pars with Clark and Vincent both getting one.
Levi Vermilya led Canton with a 48 behind two pars as Carson Rockwell shot 49 with two pars, as well.
Reed Taylor notched a 50 with one par, while Gavin Sharp shot a 52 with one par.
Tommy Preston also had a 52 as Link Vermilya shot a 57.
The Lady Knights shot 160 led by Olivia Heath’s 52 behind one par.
Clara Glantz carded a 53 with one par with Izzy Repsher scoring a 55.
Rosie Glantz had 57, Payton Perry notched 58, and Maggie Glantz added a 64.
