NTL GIRLS' SOCCER: TROY'S MCROBERTS SCORES 50TH CAREER GOAL IN LOSS TO MUNCY (2025-09-08)

MUNCY — Troy’s Alexis McRoberts netted her 50th career goal but the Trojans fell to Muncy, 3-1, during non-league girls’ soccer action Monday.

“It’s a great feeling to get 50 goals, it’s a huge accomplishment I’ve been working towards,” McRoberts said. “I had my first ever varsity career goal here in Muncy, so to get my 50th here as well is kind of a cool scenario. A lot of credit goes to the girls that get the assists on my goals, they put in a low of work to get the ball to me in scoring position. Moving forward I’m going to continue to play with my team, and work together to hopefully score a lot more goals this season.”

McRoberts joins teammate Saydi Renzo in the 50 goal club.

Despite out shooting the Indians 23-9 they could only get one in the net.

Muncy jumped out to a 2-0 lead at the half, with both teams getting a goal in the second half. Renzo assisted on the McRoberts goal.

Izzy Renzi made there saves in net for the Trojans, who had a 6-1 edge in corner kicks.
