A busy day today with girls’ soccer, cross-country, and volleyball on the schedule.

CROSS-COUNTRY
Canton, Wellsboro at Sullivan County, 4:30 p.m.: A key race in the NTL boys’ Small School Division as both the Warriors and Griffins come in undefeated against divisional opponents. 

Sayre, Towanda at NEB, 4:30 p.m.: The NEB boys got big wins over Troy and Wyalusing last week to get themselves back in the NTL Small School hunt. The Knights come in undefeated in dual meet action.

Athens, CV at Wyalusing, 4:30 p.m.: The Lady Rams will be looking to take home a pair of wins as they stay in the running for the NTL Small School title.

Troy at NP-Mansfield, 4:30 p.m.: The Troy boys look to bounce back from their loss to NEB last week as they continue their NTL Large School title defense.

VOLLEYBALL
Troy (4-1) at Wellsboro (5-1), 7 p.m.: Possibly the match of the week as its a rematch of last year’s District IV, Class AA final. The Trojans swept Canton to end last week while the Hornets rallied past Athens.

NEB (0-5) at Canton (3-3), 7 p.m.: The Warriors swept NEB in their first meeting as the Panthers are searching for their first win.

GIRLS’ SOCCER
NEB (1-7) at Troy (6-1), 4 p.m.: The Panthers hit the road as they’re coming off a pair of loss at their tournament last Saturday. Troy bounced back from a loss to Muncy with a win over Athens to keep control of the league.

Towanda (2-4) at Wellsboro (4-3), 5:30 p.m.: The Knights are coming off a loss to NP-Mansfield while Wellsboro is coming off a tough loss to Hughesville.

Wyalusing (6-2) at Athens (2-2), 5:30 p.m.: The Rams are looking to break a 2-game losing streak as they head to the Valley to take on an Athens team that recently fell to Troy.
