MONTGOMERY — Canton’s Reed Taylor missed the cut by five strokes at the first day of the District IV, Class AA Boys’ Individual Championship Thursday.

Taylor shot 95 on the day, with a 49 on the front nine, and a 46 on the back. He had two pars.
