NTL GIRLS' SOCCER: TROY FALLS AT ABINGTON HEIGHTS (2025-10-11)
Northern Tier Sports ReportCLARKS SUMMIT — Troy fell 7-1 to state power Abington Heights during non-league girls’ soccer action Saturday.
It was just 3-1 at the half when Heights scored four goals in the second half to pull away for the win.
Saydi Renzo scored off an Alexis McRoberts assist to tie it up at 1-1 halfway through the first half.
Abington got two goals in the final 15 minutes to retake the lead, then scored two goals in the first five minutes of the second half to pull away.
Liliana Calvert had two goals and three assists for Abington, while Allison Stanton had two goals with an assist.
Abington out shot Troy 23-5 and had a 2-1 edge in corner kicks. Izzy Renzi made 11 saves in net for the Trojans.
Troy will now wait to see who they get in the first round of districts.
