NTL CROSS-COUNTRY: NEILEY HAS TOP 10 FINISH TO LEAD WYALUSING AT NTLS (2025-10-12)

Northern Tier Sports Report
ROME — Wyalusing’s Aidan Neiley took seventh overall to lead the Rams at the NTL Coaches’ Invitational on Saturday.

Neiley ran 17:30.6 to pace the Green and Gold.

“I wanted to try and do my best,” Neiley. “It’s my first year back so I felt pretty good.”

He’s hoping this sets him up for a chance to make states at the District IV Championships in a couple weeks.

“I went there and ran a good time earlier this year at the invitational,” said Neiley. “I think I should make states.”

Griffin Sheldon (19:04.4) was 31st as Cody Tuttle (19:09.2) came in 33rd. Tyler Caplan (19:44.7) was 39th, and Parker Cunningham (19:53.3) was 42nd.

Wyalusing was eighth overall with 149 points.

On the girls’ side Wyalusing (83) was fourth as a team led by Megan King’s (22:03.8) 11th place finish.

Camryn Gesford (23:06.6) took 17th, Riley Porter (24:10.7) was 22nd, Ireland Coates (25:35.2) came in 27th, and MacKenna Brewer (26:55.9) was 34th.
