NTL GIRLS' SOCCER: BEHIND GLANTZ'S HAT TRICK TOWANDA RALLIES PAST SULLIVAN COUNTY (2025-10-13)
Northern Tier Sports ReportTOWANDA — In their home finale Towanda rallied to beat Sullivan County, 5-4, during non-league girls’ soccer action Monday.
Clara Glantz had a hat trick with an assist as Cheyenne Morgan and Mya Maynard also had goals. Morgan added two assists, with Taylor Aquilio getting one assist.
“Conditions were not the best, but the team did a great job to overcome and get the win,” said Towanda coach Josh Maye. “I’m proud of them for the comeback and to finish out our final home game of the season strong.”
Lily McCarty had two goals for Sullivan as Sophia Livezy and Quinn Pennella also scored.
The Griffins led 4-3 at the half, but Towanda’s two goals in the second half propelled them to victory.
Towanda out shot them 22-19 with the Griffins getting a 1-0 edge corner kicks.
Kendal Cook had 13 saves in net for the Knights as Mariah Hallabuk also had 13 stops for Sullivan.
