NTL BOYS' SOCCER: SHRAWDER'S GOLDEN GOAL PUSHES TOWANDA PAST SHAMOKIN (2025-10-15)

TOWANDA — Ben Shrawder had the golden goal to lead Towanda past Shamokin, 3-2, during non-league boys’ soccer action Tuesday.

With 1:55 left in the first overtime Shrawder was able to get his foot on the ball out of scrum off a corner kick and slipped past the Shamokin keeper for the win.

Hudson Stevens and Brayden Spencer also had goals as Josh Maye added two assists.

Towanda out shot the Indians 10-5 and had an 11-7 edge in corner kicks.

Blaiz Nichols made three saves for Towanda.

The Knights the end season on a 3-match winning streak.
