NTL GOLF: TOWANDA BOYS, GIRLS FALL IN SUB-REGIONAL ACTION (2025-10-15)
Northern Tier Sports ReportWILLIAMSPORT — Both Towanda golf teams fell in the Sub-Regional match on Tuesday, with the boys dropping the match to defending champions Scranton Prep while the girls lost to Tunkhannock.
On the boys’ side Scranton Prep topped Towanda 290-338 as they featured seven state qualifiers on the roster.
Graham Welles shot 79 to lead the Knights followed by Boom Thompson with an 82. Owen Savercool (86) was third, followed by Jason Wickwire (91), Baylee Clark (92), and Lucas Vincent (97).
Brendan Bell carded a 67 to lead Scranton Prep as Cole Powell shot 70, and Ben Boyanski notched a 73.
On the girls’ side the Lady Tigers won 273-334.
Clara Glantz shot 106 to lead Towanda with Izzy Repsher getting 111. Rosie Glantz had 117, and Olivia Heath carded a 118.
Madison Walker led Tunkhannock with a 78, as Madelyn Bevau shot 97, and Paige Spudis notched a 98.
